Unexpected blessing.

PATH was blessed today by a very sweet boy who collected cans and bottles to raise money to donate toward the Grace House.  Encouraged by a teacher to find a way to give an unexpected blessing 7 year old Josiah Rogers told his mother Bethany that he want to give money to PATH.

Josiah had heard about the work PATH was doing with the homeless when he saw a flyer at Sun Grove Church.  Joined by his mother, sisters and brother, Josiah met with PATH volunteer Ed Kelly at Grace House to deliver the envelope of cash he saved from his work collecting and redeeming cans and bottles.

We are grateful that this young boy took the time and effort to reach out to those in need.  His giving heart is greatly appreciated.

On Saturday, Nov 16, Mayor Gary Davis invited Robert Cloud from Grace House and Fred Bremerman from PATH to the Grand Opening of the new McDonald's next to Walmart on Bruceville @ Whitelock Parkway. Store owner Steve Ramirez celebrated the store opening with donations to local causes, including PATH/Grace House and EG WINS. Again our community and our connections are benefiting Elk Grove homeless. Let's celebrate!
